Jim Brous
Jim Brous is known for his ability to bring together business and technology in complex environments. For over 25 years, he has successfully applied IT solutions to improve business results for leading firms in asset management, private banking, trust, and global custody. These firms include Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, UBS, and U.S. Trust Company. His leadership roles include Vice President of e-Services for Private Banking, Chief Architect, and Director of Global Technology Development. Internationally, Mr. Brous directed several concurrent projects with 60+ direct reports in multiple countries, with budgets exceeding $18 million. He has extensive consulting experience in the investment industry, leading the planning and delivery of IT solutions and providing advisory services. He holds a Mathematics degree from Cornell University and is an FAA-certified commercial pilot.
Mary Scherer
Mary Scherer’s background in financial services has spanned consumer, retail, investment and private banking, mortgage and asset-backs trading, custody and retirement services, treasury and capital markets. She held senior roles in private banking business strategy and internet marketing, and new product introductions for portfolio and asset management websites. Ms. Scherer’s expertise is in operational transformations, leading conversions and implementations, bringing about workflow process improvements, and launches of new products, with emphasis on achieving successful user adoption. She received a B.A. magna cum laude from University of Notre Dame, is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Black Belt trained, and experienced in leading change management initiatives in complex environments.
